Washington born and bred, I grew up with the outdoors as my playground. I have spent my life morphing one outdoor passion into another. My camping and fishing obsession started at age 6, and rafting and cycling at age 12. It wasn’t until I moved to Colorado and Utah for college that I discovered the addiction of sandstone in rock climbing and canyoneering. Skiing has been in my life since I could walk and it seemed only natural that my summers spent backpacking and summiting 14ers would eventually lead my ski career towards back-country touring and mountaineering. While I am always trying to improve my skills, I find it equally rewarding to experience as many forms of outdoor sports as possible and build my knowledge of outdoor, survival and sports medicine education.

While I am more an extreme hobbyist than a professional, my proficiencies have always been dominated and mentored by men or self guided. Since joining SheJumps as a volunteer in 2015 I have met countless women who have guided and pushed me to my goals. I have grown more as a woman and an athlete in the two years with SheJumps than my 10 years of adventures in the desert southwest! I cannot wait to instill the same passion and confidence that is so uniquely developed through the empowerment of women by women. I am truly excited and honored to become an Ambassador for SheJumps for 2017! I can’t wait to see you out there rocking your our adventure!
