Spending time outdoors has become an integral part of my life since my family moved to Boise when I was young. Some of the most formative moments have been on outdoor trips that have challenged me physically, emotionally, and socially. My most influential role models have been coaches, teachers, leaders, or friends who have provided a space for me to learn and grow outside, and I now have the desire to provide those same opportunities for girls and to share my love of our beautiful, natural world. I’m so excited to be able to work with SheJumps, an organization I look up to for their dedication to providing a safe and encouraging space for girls to experience growth and have fun outside! In the winter I work on the Sun Valley Ski Patrol and am continually improving my knowledge of snow science in the backcountry. In the warm months I’m most likely to be riding my bike on roads or trails or dipping out of cell service for a backpacking trip!
