Figuring the formula

Comment on this Post Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Jumper Julia Niles has been trying to figure out the formula for a while, you know that formula where you can really live life and spend as little time as possible actually working. Her dreams are coming true. And the coolest part, it's happening to one of the most humble, raddest girls ever. She's going for her full American Mountain Guides Association certification in rock, ski mountaineering and alpine. When she completes it this year, she will be one of a handful of girls out of the 200-plus AMGA guides to become fully certified. Read the email she sent to SheJumps co-founder Vanessa Pierce ... Vanessa! Hows SLC treating you? I tried to call you yesterday and was psyched to see you gave me your new number cause I felt all cut off when the phone co said the number was disconnected. Hope all is well! Do you like your job? You have to keep me posted on your schedule. Mine just got super nuts. I'm going to Arizona, New York, Costa Rica, then South Africa all before December 10. CRAZY! But, I PASSEd MY ALPINE EXAM!!!!!! So excited. It's a huge weight off my shoulders. This S. Africa thing is super exciting. It's with this woman, Majka Burkhart and photographer James Q. I'll be a mini guide to the roped climbing in S. Africa for a magazine — and the best part is [my sponsor] is paying my way. SWEET! Anyhow, sorry I was so rushed getting those pix to you — I'm super psyched still on our [Grand Teton] trip. I keep telling people about my adventure with the skiing chicks and hulahooping on the summit of the Grand. SUPER FUN. Have you blogged anything about it? I'm sure you have. I'll have to take a look. Speaking of, could you give me Sunny's number, she's so close, it would be good to [have a friend nearby]. Well, we should talk soon! Julia
