The SheJumps crew almost cried reading the letter (unedited) below. It's from Jumper Clara Debize, a junior racer from France. She absolutely loves Resi Stiegler, also a Jumper, who on Dec. 28 took a fall in a giant slalom race in Lienz, Austria. The 22-year-old World Cup skier, who was just about to get her first podium (we're certain), caught an outside edge going into a turn, lost control and slid backwards into B Net along the course. But she didn't stop there. Her speed carried her into trees and stumps breaking her left forearm and tearing her right MCL and partially tearing her right ACL and PCL. Stiegler is still one of the most positive, lively people we know, even busted up and resting at home in Jackson Hole. She was very thankful for Clara's letter. If you too want to send a love letter to Resi, e-mail info@shejumps.org and we'll pass them on. (Photo: Jumpers Resi, left, and Lauren Ross in Chile. Photo by Lauren Ross)
As for Clara (pictured right), what an inspiration. She has even made SheJumps badges to wear around the race courses, and we couldn't be prouder.
You muist be ready for the 2009 WORLD CUP in VAL D'ISERE in FRANCE
