Challenge: What's the nicest thing you've ever done?

Comment on this Post Photobucket"What's the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?" asked my friend Sunny. "What's the nicest thing you've done for someone?" she prodded again. I was perplexed. I couldn't think of that one thing, and that scared me. Was I that selfish? Maybe I just couldn't think of anything special. Sure I've done nice things for boyfriends and family members, but one amazing thing? No recollection. A month later, I realize I finally did something that is worthy of an answer. I did the nicest thing for someone. I did it. I really did, and I want to share with you precisely what it is, but not quite yet. First, I want to challenge you to do it, too. It's rewarding and exciting to know you selflessly (without worries of spending too much or putting too much time into creating it, etc.) just did it. This particular nicety meant so much to me because, for the first time, I didn't make excuses that I didn't have the money or time. This time I told myself that I have all of the money and time (even though I didn't). And you know what, that's when you know you have truly done the nicest thing. But here's the real challenge: Do the "nicest thing" for someone you dislike. Imagine what great surprises could come from it: a new friend, a happier boss, a loved person? Hmmm, think of the possibilities ...
