Have an adventure

Comment on this Post PhotobucketOur dear friend Ashley Magnuson just wrote in, and though she says SheJumps inspires her, she inspires me. That’s what SheJumps is all about, after all — a community of women taking jumps and leaps and bounds hopeful that their enthusiasm will wear off on others. Ashley is taking off to Thailand for an epic adventure by her lonesome. That takes guts. I’m lucky enough this May to be able to take a trip to Norway with a couple friends. I’ve never been to the Norge homeland though my grandfather is buried there. My friend Grete is from Norway and thought it was time to visit her dad, so I’m jumping at the chance to join her. Whether big or small, use this spring to take an adventure whether its across the world or camping in your backyard. Have fun!! (By the way, Ashley is responding to her old friend Libby Ludlow — scroll down to post — who will be putting on a Real Campaign for Beauty workshop in Seattle over the summer. So stay tuned.) (Photo by Lynsey Dyer) Yeah! I was excited to see this email from you guys! Hello to both of you! First of all V I’ve been meaning to tell you how much of an impact SheJumps is making in my life. I love pulling up the site when I’m feeling lethargic or I just need a little kick in the ass. It just reminds me to go for it, weather it’s taking a trip to Thailand by myself for a month or getting the balls to try and compete in the extremes (even though it was sold out). I’m at a cafe right now (the skiing sucks) trying to outline my trip to Thailand and kind of trying to figure out what the hell I’m going to do this summer and in the future. I’m starting off with my Thailand trip, but then coming back and leading an outdoor ed trip in Moab, then coaching soccer and fitness camps for the Youth Foundation, and then maybe going on a mountaineering trip in the Himalayas with NOLS. I’m trying to figure out career moves, but I’m not really getting anywhere. Let me know if you ladies have any brilliant ideas. And Libby let me know if you need any extra help for your camp in August. I just might be back in Seattle then. V, we should start organizing a gathering of SheJumps women once a year. What do you think? Let’s chat, I’ll plan it with your input! I just think it would be so inspiring! Love you guys, Ash
