Trondheim, Norway, a place I will visit often in my future.
Have you ever played the Manifest Game? It's one of the most powerful mind trips you will ever go on. Imagine living your dreams, that's what this game offers. You play it with friends. On my recent adventure to Norway, I played with Jumpers Laura Schaffer and Grete Eliassen. I started by asking Grete how her career was suiting her. She told me how it was in real time, in present time as if her dreams were happening. Start by writing down a list of your wants and dreams in present tense. Here's an example of what's been on my mind ...
—I have a boss who appreciates my work and gives me creative responsibility (see, if you don't have this, think positively that you will have it soon).
—I have an amazing career that allows me to travel around the world.
—I am fully supported by the successful, world-reaching SheJumps nonprofit organization.
—I ski at least three times a week with my best friends in the world.
Once you have the basics, put it into story form with your friends. For example, I'm 35 (now, flash forward) and have seen SheJumps grow into a huge nonprofit that reaches women around the world. The online magazine has taken off, and SheJumps offers regional events (i.e. speaking, outdoor adventures, etc.) to challenge women to get out of the comfort zone and reach their potential. I travel all over the world to promote this passion. I usually pit stop in places like Norway and France for some epic skiing along the way. My two best friends, Lynsey Dyer and Claire Smallwood, are equally immersed in making this a powerful organization. We have a staff of 50 working on different projects from fundraising to event planning. Oprah just had us on her show. Politicians are asking for our consultation. And, most importantly, I'm the best boss in the world.
How cool is that?
