JESS MCMILLAN grew up in the Tetons, which helped her learn how to ski on the Tetons. She is the 2006-07 International Free Skiing Association World Champion. This girl will ski anything, and ski it hard. In high school, McMillan liked to click into bindings attached to skis, latched to ski racks on the top of her car. She would tuck while her buddies drove 70 mph. Let’s just say, McMillan likes a good dose of adrenaline. The former University of Montana racer — who graduated with degrees in both business and forestry — is always gunning to get better. Over the summer she practiced layout backflips at the Utah Olympic Splash pool in Park City, Utah, and is psyched to stick them this winter. And she recently tied the knot with her equally extreme counterpart, Eric Seymour, the only guy who can keep up with her. He co-founded Clear H20 Films and can huck off waterfalls like McMillan can huck off cliffs. This winter, McMillan plans to defend her IFSA Freeskiing World Champ title, and hopes to add one more title to the mix: champion of the inaugural Freeride World Tour. — Vanessa Pierce (photo by Heather Erson)
