Gratitude Rally–Create Flags of Encouragement

Updated: May 12, 2020

If you're like us, you believe in the magic of the Girafficorn. The Girafficorn reminds us to keep our feet on the ground and our head in the clouds, above chaos and drama. When we read that, we think: "Thank you Girafficorn for reminding me!" And then we are happier, because we were not only reminded by the Girafficorn to focus on positive things, but the very act of thanking the Girafficorn makes US feel good. It's quite a good cycle to be in.

Practicing gratitude (or appreciation) is the simplest, most effective thing you can do every day to be happier. But where to start? How do you "practice gratitude"?

We've got you covered!

A small act of gratitude go can a long way. The Gratitude Rally is a way for you to play, create, and expand your artistic imagination while encouraging those in your community that need it most. A physical reminder of how grateful their community is for them.

Because they need to hear it–and you mean it.

Think of someone in your life that needs to feel some encouragement: Your buddy up north who's an emergency room nurse, your neighbor who lives alone, the checker at your local market, someone who needs a pick-me-up, or your adventure partner who you really miss. Gather up all those feels and channel them in to an art project that reminds them how much you care.

  • Cut 1 flag from that half and use it as the template for others.

  • Cut triangles at will creating similar sized flags (take it easy, they don't have to be exact).

  • Piece together with string/ribbon/dental floss.

  • Deliver or mail to recipient.
