The Outdoor Gear Exchange and Dynafit hosted the Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival in Burlington, VT, this past Thursday, December 5th, as a fundraiser for SheJumps. More than 50 people gathered to support SheJumps and to see a series of inspiring films about winter adventures, perseverance, and wildland conservation. Crowd favorites were Poor Man’s Heli and WorthWild–a film about the conservation of Vermont’s cherished Bolton Valley, and produced by Red Reel Media.
We were also extremely excited to be joined by Skida (www.shopskida.com)–a Vermont-based winter accessories company, who has created a stellar SheJumps Collection! A portion of all sales will go to support SheJumps programming nationwide. It was the first chance for the public to purchase the new SJ Collection, and people were lined up to check out and purchase the hats, headbands and neck warmers! The SJ Collection will be available through Skida soon. Thanks Skida!
With gear and prizes from supporters such as Skida, Stoner Andrews Inc., Slopeside Syrup, Camelback, Thule, YakTrax and more, the raffle raised even more to support SheJumps. Thank you to all of our supporters and all who attended to help make the event a success. A huge thank you goes to the Outdoor Gear Exchange and Dynafit for making this event possible!
