Working in the outdoor recreation planning and management field, SheJumps is the puzzle piece that fits just right and allows Andrea to expand her reach beyond paper and desk. Her life compass question is, “Does this expand people’s perceptions of what they are capable of in the outdoors?” and if the answer is yes, she knows she’s not lost. Andrea thrives on trail, mountain, rock, and river with her wild dog Jovie (short for Jovial) by her side. She has lived in ten different states before her mid-30’s, but calls Fairbanks, Alaska home (for now). Andrea is persistent in her efforts to balance motherhood and her sense of adventure, hoping her children are learning something from watching and occasionally being drug along on her shenanigans.
Born and raised in Alaska, Mallory's early years fostered a deep love for the outdoors and adventure. She thrives in water, whether it's scuba diving in the ocean, paddling around lakes, or fishing and floating rivers. When not by the water, you'll find her hiking or skinning up mountains, often in the company of her two pet goats and dog. Mallory's true passion lies in encouraging others to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new experiences, believing it to be the most exhilarating way to live life.
