Albion Grill, Alta Ski Area, UT.
Do you love winter? Do you want to have more fun in the snow? Most importantly, do you feel safe in the snow? Whether you’ve taken an avalanche course and you need to brush up on your beacon skills, or you’ve never used a beacon, this clinic is for you! You always say you need to practice…and the best time to practice is NOT in an emergency! Practice NOW!
Join SheJumps, Evelyn Lees from the Forest Service Utah Avalanche Center and the wonderful ladies of Alta and Snowbird patrol this December to become the fastest beacon searcher in the western snow!
This is a FREE clinic! We will meet inside the Albion Grill (go to Alta's upper parking lot) at 9am for about 30 minutes. Then its out to the snow!
What to bring:
~Warm winter clothing
~A beacon, shovel, or probe (we'll have some extras to lend)
~If you'd like to practice on your skis, bring your ski set up
~Snacks and Hydration
