About SheJumps Wild Skills
Who We Are
SheJumps Wild Skills youth events teach young girls the survival and technical skills they need for outdoor adventuring.
Wild Skills programs include: Day Camps, Overnight Camps, and Family Adventures. Specialty programs include Junior Ski Patrol and Junior Wildland Firefighting.
These skills can be applied in any season or region and include first aid, navigation, leave no trace, 10 essentials, shelter building and more. Our events encourage girls to learn new skills, take on challenges, and think creatively which develops perseverance and fosters confidence.
Our goal is to see girls learning, having fun, and connecting in an encouraging environment with amazing instruction and support from female mentors. We want Wild Skills to be an experience they will remember, one that will spark a lifetime of passion for the outdoors and will remind them that they are capable of anything.
SheJumps Wild Skills provides outdoor education across the country to girls ages 6-17.
SheJumps Wild Skills actively engages the community, recruiting class leaders that specialize in each area and rallying volunteer mentors to guide the teams of girls aiming for 1 to 3 mentorship.
Grants, fundraising and private donations allow us to keep these programs free to low cost for participants.
SheJumps Wild Skills was created and runs on volunteer efforts.
