Claire Smallwood

CO-FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Originally hailing from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Claire Smallwood is a visionary leader in removing barriers for women and girls in outdoor recreation, and beyond. Claire has devoted the last 18 years to building a future where people everywhere are living to their potential. She’s passionate about equity, volunteerism, nonprofits, skiing, our wild places, and, as a professional chef in a former life, meticulously diced shallots.

Robyn Gelfand

NATIONAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Robyn is passionate about access to the outdoors for all communities. From teaching skiing in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to building experiential education programs in Portland, Oregon, Robyn loves helping people step outside their comfort zones and learn they are more capable than they thought. In her free time, Robyn can be found trail running, watching a Portland Thorns soccer game, or skiing on Mt. Hood.

Morgan Oyster-Sands

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM MANAGER

Morgan has spent her career at the intersection of the outdoors, youth development and DEI. She grew up camping with her family outside of Houston, Texas and after college went searching for wilder spaces and landed in Portland, Oregon. The outdoors have been transformational in her own life and she loves helping others find that for themselves. Morgan strives to strike the balance between data informed decision making and human centered leadership. When not working Morgan can be found outside; trail running, gardening, rock climbing or volunteering!

Jenna Sweig

PARTNERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Jenna is a passionate gender justice advocate, and excited to be working toward providing equitable access to the outdoors with SheJumps. While originally from Massachusetts, Jenna has lived in Denver since 2019 where she has developed a love for aerial arts, hiking, climbing, and skiing, with a preference for activities her sweet pup Lady can join in on! With a background in international development and travel, Jenna loves exploring new cities, trying new food, and anything that pushes her out of her comfort zone to make her just a litttttle uncomfortable.

Heidi Skildum

PROGRAM MANAGER

Cold weather is Heidi’s playground. She’s gone from skiing and ice hockey in Northern Minnesota to tackling PNW adventures like trail running and skiing volcanoes. With a career in spanning education, non-profits, and the outdoor industry, she’s dedicated to making the outdoors inclusive and diverse for all. When she’s not adventuring, you’ll find her cooking with her husband or cuddling on the couch with her pup, Luz.

Jasmine Poblano

COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING MANAGER

Jasmine combines her love for storytelling with a strong background in Latinx Studies, holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the field. Her work spans a variety of creative projects, from researching Indigenous healing practices across Latin America to developing media that amplifies underrepresented voices in the outdoors.
With experience in communications, community outreach, and social media management, Jasmine excels at creating engaging content and organizing events that foster connection. She enjoys finding innovative ways to share stories that inspire action, promote inclusivity, and build community!

Dione Catherine Rodriguez

SHEJUMPS INTO THE CANYON COORDINATOR & GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Dioné has called Utah since 2010, but her love for the outdoors can be traced back to being a little kid following her mom's footsteps of climbing trees, venturing the hills, and more during the summers spent at her grandma's home in a small rural town in Mexico. A Graphic Design BFA Program graduate from Utah Valley University, Dioné enjoys spending as much time outside as possible whether that be hiking, camping, biking, or skiing always looking for ways to promote diversity in the beauty of the outdoors. While not outside, Dioné enjoys rewatching her favorite shows while getting cuddles from her two pups and enjoying time with her friends.
