About the event
The goal of this course is to teach rope teams how to perform a crevasse rescue. Participants will learn route finding on glaciated terrain, rope travel and how to build snow and ice anchors. They will also complete a two person rescue.
We will be offering two crevasse courses at the Nisqually Glacier at Mount Rainier National Park. The following days are tailored to whether participants will be traveling on feet or skis.
