The first time you step onto snow can change everything.

For many, stepping into the mountains for the first time isn’t just about learning to ski or snowboard; it’s about discovering a sense of belonging, building confidence, and experiencing the kind of joy that only comes from being outside in winter.

The SheJumps x Ikon Pass Mountain Access Program exists to make those moments possible.

By providing Ikon Passes, lessons, and rentals, this program lowers the financial and logistical barriers that often keep people from accessing snowsports. It creates an entry point into a world that has not always felt welcoming or accessible to everyone, and opens the door to new experiences, new skills, and new community.

We believe the outdoors should be a place of joy, courage, and transformation for everyone. That belief drives this program and shapes who we hope to reach: Women of Color, as well as women and nonbinary people, who have faced barriers to accessing the mountains. When access expands, so does possibility, on and off the snow.

Because this isn’t just about one day on the mountain. It’s about what happens after: the confidence to try again, the friendships formed on the lift, the feeling of carving your first turns, and the realization that you belong here.
