HeroKit Fix-a-flat Clinic

Join us for a fun night of learning with Hero Kit and the expert mechanics of Speed and Sprocket Cycle Works at Energia Fitness to learn the ins and outs of your bike.

If you want to have the skills AND the tools to fix a flat, this night is for you!

Not only will you walk away EMPOWERED-but the first ten women to register and show will take home a fully stocked HeroKit (valued at $40) and Sean and Liz will teach you how to use it (priceless).

Stay after class for brews brought to you by Northampton Brewery.

In this clinic you’ll :

  1. Learn how to fix a flat and remove/reinstall rear wheel

  2. Gain general maintenance tips for keeping your bike happy!

  3. Meet other women to ride with this summer

  4. Get your bike ready for the Pioneer Valley Rapha 100 women’s ride happening 7/20

Other great giveaways will be added soon!

UPDATE-Pedro’s North America has come on board as another partner for the clinic and they will be providing some goodies to share with you, including a complete Starter Tool Kit that we will be raffling off to one lucky participant! If you’re not familiar with Pedro’s, they’ve been in the bike biz designing lubes, cleaners, tools and other juicy bits for 25 years now!

Speed and Sprocket Cycle Works are psyched to be partnering with SheJumps, here’s what they have to say about it:

“As an avid cyclist, athlete and woman I can’t help but notice on a daily basis the disproportion in the amount of time, energy and investment spent on every aspect of women’s sports and athletics as compared to mens.  As an activist I take pride in encouraging, supporting, and leading a culture of change that strives to create equal opportunity for women.” Liz Budd, Speed and Sprocket Cycle Works.

“As the father of a 10 year old daughter, it’s important to me that she has all of the opportunities possible to enjoy, and feel welcome, in an activity that I love so much. I can’t imagine life without cycling, and I wouldn’t want her to just because of her chromosomes.  If she wants to cycle for enjoyment or even to competitively race, I want her, and all the girls like her, to be able to. If I can help make that happen, then sign me up!” Sean Condon, Speed and Sprocket Cycle Works
