Updated: Aug 12, 2022

UPDATE: The application period has closed. Candidates moving on to the next round will be notified on or before August 15.

SheJumps is searching for two new team members to make a huge impact in the future of our organization. If you are impact-oriented, possess strong communication and organization skills—especially with spreadsheets—we want to hear from you! A passion for uplifting and amplifying ALL women and girls as it relates to outdoor activities is also a must.

We seek to have a staff that represents the broad diversity of the communities we aim to serve. We encourage Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQ individuals, individuals with disabilities, and veterans to apply. Men (cis and trans) are also encouraged to apply.

We are looking for individuals who...

  • Are motivated by the SheJumps vision to ignite and unearth human potential through outdoor play in reverence to nature

  • Believe that outdoor experiences inspire confidence, foster leadership, and create critical life skills

  • Excel working remotely and with volunteers

Both positions are contract-based with potential to grow into full-time staff positions.

Program Coordinator

This is a contract-based, part-time position that requires 20 to 30 hours per week with the potential to grow into a full-time position. The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Director and works with staff to plan and implement national events. This role also provides programmatic support to regional volunteers who are activating events on a local level.

The main role of the Program Coordinator is to support program management of SheJumps national events from planning through completion. SheJumps national events include Fundraising Climbs, Alpine School, River School, and Wilderness First Aid Scholarship Program. The Program Coordinator also provides resources and programmatic support to SheJumps’ regional volunteers who are activating national events on a local level, such as film screenings, Get The Girls Out!, Junior Ski Patrol, and other Wild Skills youth programs.

Operations Coordinator

This is a contract-based part-time position that requires 10 to 15 hours per week, and has the potential to grow into a full-time position. The Operations Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and supports the organization in the following capacities: general bookkeeping, email inbox management for info@shejumps.org, financial reconciliation of programs, and working with our development team to support donor stewardship and administration. This role also provides occasional administrative assistance to the Executive Director. We are looking for someone with strong spreadsheet and database management skills.

Essential responsibilities for all positions include leading and supporting regional volunteer teams, active participation in diversity and inclusion learning and initiatives, and relationship management with core program partners. We aim to improve the accessibility of the outdoors through equitable inclusion of Black, Indigenous, Women of Color, and other under-represented identities who identify with the women’s community. Candidates who are specifically passionate about outdoor equity are strongly encouraged to apply.
