Decision-Making in the Backcountry

SheJumps is very excited to be partnering with Jackson Hole Mountain Guides in an effort to bring the ladies of Jackson together for our Decision-Making in the Backcountry event on February 12, 2014! A unique avalanche safety event, this clinic will go beyond the technical aspects of traveling in avalanche terrain and delve into equally important aspects such as human factors and communication. Taught by Jackson Hole Mountain Guides instructor Erica Engle, this clinic is meant to empower us ladies to use our heads and be active participants in the decision-making process of our backcountry travel groups!

The clinic will run from 6:30 – 8:30pm at the Jackson Hole Mountain Guides Office (1325 S. Highway 89, Suite 104) on February 12.

The event cost is $10 and space is limited, so please register with Carisa Barnett at carisa@shejumps.org.
