Are you ready to join SheJumps and participate in Get the Girls Out! this March? Get the Girls Out is simple: Gathering friends and enjoying time outside. Invite your friends, bring the costumes, have a dance party, and breathe in the fresh air.
Here’s how: Get the Girls Out! is a free virtual event that inspires and encourages participants to get outside through fun challenges that can be accomplished anywhere–regardless of age, ability, geographic location, or experience in the outdoors. Events will be held between March 4-6, 2022, a weekend celebration leading up to International Women’s Day on March 8.
SheJumps’ Get the Girls Out! is a national campaign to unite women as they support, challenge, mentor, and inspire each other in the outdoor sports world.
Follow SheJumps on social media for a chance to win giveaways prior to the event, along with receiving the most up-to-date information leading up to the event.
How to play (regardless of your location)
Using a mobile app to provide outdoor-themed missions that participants accomplish to earn points and win prizes, just by signing up to participate in the Get the Girls Out! you’re entered to win amazing prizes directly from our partners. The more you play, the more you can win! View real-time progress of other participants and connect with fellow SheJumpers across the globe. The event features the missions that teach foundational outdoor skills and mental fitness, with tutorial videos and challenges from amazing women leaders, guides, athletes, social entrepreneurs, and activists.

The game goes live on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6:00 AM MST and you can complete challenges to win prizes until Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 7:00 PM MST.
Differences between last year’s event and this year’s event
Due to Covid precautions, 2022 Get the Girls Out! events will be significantly pared down from previous years’ large-scale events. 2022 events will follow a hybrid model using a virtual scavenger hunt through the Goosechase app plus optional in-person activation. This gives participants flexibility to engage with the SheJumps community at the level at which they are comfortable.
For 2022, we have added a few in-person events where you can meet our local SheJumps teams. For a complete and growing list of locations, please visit the Get the Girls Out! 2022 Registration page.
In-person activations are permitted where Covid restrictions allow and in accordance with a local resort. Below are the examples in-person ‘activations’ you may see:
Demos from our event partner, the Tecnica Group (includes Nordica, Blizzard, Tecnica, and where geographically appropriate: Roller Blade!)
An informational SheJumps tent where participants can snag the QR code to download the Goosechase app and start playing.
In the works: Optional in-person challenges that are executed separately from the Goosechase app.
Registration: Get the Girls Out! will be through one single Eventbrite page with only a few exceptions. Why? The primary goal of Get the Girls Out! is to inspire and encourage participants to get outside. Due to our organization’s capacity and bandwidth, as well as varying levels of Covid restrictions, we have decided to remove the additional logistics of ticketed registration and in-person raffles.
Participants can find updated information about local activations on the Eventbrite page, the SheJumps.org landing page, and through regional Facebook groups.
How will the event improve upon last year’s inaugural experience?
We are committed to big prizes (such as skis and boots) from our new partner for this event, the Tecnica Group. Tecnica has committed to providing gift certificates as opposed to products, which allows people to choose the product that works for them.
