Despite the below freezing temps, on Saturday December 17th a frosty group of ladies gathered together for some laps on International Women’s Ski Day.
Meeting at Lookout Lodge at 11am, about ten brave souls were bundled up and ready to make a few runs. Bright and clear, we huddled together for a quick group photo, and then immediately bounced into the bowls to get our blood flowing. After a series of storms they had just dropped the rope and opened the gates to the pristine powder, and there is nothing quite like the feeling of making laps and hearing giggles the whole way.
High fives, powder explosions, and a late lunch taco break made for a fun day full of smiles. Nothing like sharing some laps with shred betties to keep the spirits high and motivation rolling. With some waves goodbye and a promise of a good winter ahead, we all parted with holiday cheer and serious lady stoke.
