10 Ways to Support SheJumps

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

SheJumps wouldn’t be the nonprofit it is today without one of the many ways that people give back their time and resources to help bring women and girls to events.

Scroll through the list below to see 10 ways you can show - and amplify - your support for women and girls in the outdoors.

Shop!

1. Merchandise

Show your support and wear SheJumps merchandise loud and proud. Buy your favorite swag and tag SheJumps on social media to show your girafficorn in the wild. All net proceeds from our merch sales go straight back to our programs throughout the U.S. and Canada.

2. Buy from SheJumps partners

We get to collaborate with some amazing partners, some of which actually give a portion of their sales back to SheJumps. Current partner deals include:

  • Gear.com gives 20% back on every purchase: 10% to you, and 10% that you can donate to SheJumps! During checkout, choose the “Give a Buck” program and select “SheJumps.”

  • BRANWYN is a sustainable innerwear brand built for performance. Now through the end of 2020, BRANWYN will is offering SheJumps members 25% off their orders with code SHEJUMPER.

3. Use smile.amazon.com when you shop Amazon

Did you know that if you shop on smile.amazon.com, you can contribute to a nonprofit of your choice? SheJumps is registered to receive a small percentage of the sale when you shop using Amazon Smile. Learn how you can set up SheJumps as your charitable organization here.

4. Join a fundraising climb

Every year, SheJumps partners with various guide companies to complete skis or climbs. Each participant raises money for SheJumps as they train and prepare for their climb. At the end of October, we announced four fundraising climbs, with two new trips planned for 2020. Sign up fast as space is limited.

5. Facebook fundraisers

Set up a Facebook Fundraiser for your birthday or another milestone in your life. This lets your family and friends make donations on your behalf to the nonprofit of your choice. Learn more about Facebook’s Supporter Fundraiser program here.

Give your time

6. Attend an event

If you’ve been wanting to connect with like-minded females within your community or you know a girl who would shine in the outdoors, consider signing up and attending an event, including more virtual event options. The more participation, the more successful we are as an organization. Grab a friend or come solo, we want to meet you!

7. Volunteer

SheJumps is founded on volunteerism! Lend your time and skills. Not sure where to start? Reach out to your regional coordinator for ways to lend a hand at events. Help with the booth, be a team leader for a Wild Skills event, take photos, or sell raffle tickets. Are you more of a behind the scenes person and have a unique skill set you’re willing to volunteer your time to help make the organization better? Reach out to a national director. We’d love to hear from you and know how you want to participate.

Make a donation

They make our world go round at SheJumps. Your money helps us reach more women and girls and supports the growth of our organization across the country (and now into Canada!).

10. Sharing is caring

Your likes, comments, and shares help us reach your friends and their friends. Share your own SheJumps story or experience as well - post to social media and tag @SheJumps, write a blog post or just drop us a line … we always want to hear how SheJumps and the outdoors has impacted your life.
