Big Things for Spring with Big Agnes

Written by: Anna Bernard

“Our urge to sleep under the stars and breathe fresh mountain air is what continually drives us and keeps us motivated. In the end, the bluebird summits and nights spent listening to raging creeks or even highway noise have made the journey awesome and, truth be told, we wouldn’t want it any other way.” – The Crew at Big Agnes

It began with a simple shipment of sleeping bags and pads to outdoor stores. Fast forward fifteen years later, and Big Agnes is fueling adventures with a wide range of products. From tents to sleeping bags to pads and more, the Colorado-based team never fails to deliver to those who value crisp outdoor air and sleeping under the stars.

Of course, as a continually shifting and evolving company, there are bound to be some struggles and successes. “The biggest hard-won success was creating our Big Agnes System bags, so rolling off your pad in the middle of the night becomes a thing of the past!” said Brett Buckles, the marketing coordinator for Big Agnes. “Our integrated full-sleeve and half-sleeve designs in a number of our sleeping bags allows a pad to seamlessly ‘attach’ to the underside of your sleeping bag for ultimate sleeping comfort.”

Aside from rad products that strive for authenticity, Big Agnes supports several nonprofits. “Big Agnes tries to give back to those who support us,” said Buckles. “We feel that nonprofits do this best. We recognize the hard work of these non-profits, and as a small company, we feel that our hard work to grow and expand within our marketplace is similar.”

SheJumps is incredibly excited to partner with a company that shares the same wild passion for adventure, the outdoors and an overall good time. After learning about SheJumps at the “Pretty Faces” premier, Big Agnes was immediately intrigued.

“After our investigation we were inspired to reach out and see how we could work together,” said Buckles. “We loved how seats were set aside at the movie for young girls from the schools to attend the viewing. SheJumps promotes women and girls to get outside just like we encourage people to get outdoors.”

As spring approaches, Big Agnes will be donating a portion of their sales from the Tulfy SL2+ tents to SheJumps. Not only is it an awesome deal, but the tent itself was designed by a team of women (who designed with women in mind). Regardless of who made or uses the tent, it’s designed to withstand and to explore the outdoors. We couldn’t be more excited to have a product reflect our values so well.
