Hiking and yoga go together. So good to breathe deeply, and stretch calves, achilles, feet, quads, glutes, hamstrings, quads, back and shoulders, making the hike that much more enjoyable. Yoga is about being present, uniting the mind, body, and spirit. Nature is the easiest place to be present. Our senses wake up as we breathe in fresh air, smell the forest, feel the wind and sun on our skin, and hear the sounds of nature all around us. My favorite place to me is on top of a mountain. We will stretch as we hike up and really stretch it out at the summit.
