On March 29, the SheJumps community of the Tetons, alongside the Jackson Hole Babe Force, once again came together for our annual Jackson Hole Lady Shred Day and Après Fundraiser Party, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!
The ladies kicked off the day with an all-female spring ski session, with one-pieces, tutus, unicorns and lipstick present in full force. With high levels of stoke and girafficorns of all ages and from all places joining in, ladies zipped around Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, simultaneously making new connections and bonding with old friends as the group of female shredders earned hoots and hollers of support from the chairlifts, proving what we already knew: everyone loves that magical girafficorn spirit!
Following the day on the hill, ladies and our male supporters gathered at the Village Café for an après blast and fundraiser for SheJumps and the Babe Force. With unbelievable raffle and silent auction items from all of our amazing event donors, such as the 171 Rangers donated by Sego Skis, we were able far exceed our fundraising expectations, all while enjoying Snake River Brewing beers, food, music, dancing fun, sunshine and the company of fellow supporters! Things got even more fun when we put local ski-celebrities Casey Jillson, Benny Wilson and Jess McMillan on auction for a half-day ski date. Benny put on quite the performance and Jess went to one of our wonderful little raffle helpers, perfectly aligning with our goal of providing strong female role models for young girls in the outdoors!
All in all, we have many donors to thank and unending appreciation to all who came out and supported us—your financial contributions will support SheJumps, both locally and nationally, as well as scholarship funds for the Jackson Hole Babe Force! Thank you—we could not have done it without all of you!!
